Google Business Profile Management

Show up first when nearby customers search on Google Maps

We set up, optimize, and actively manage your Google Business Profile so you win more calls, direction requests, and bookings from local search.

What is Google Business Profile management?

When someone searches “coffee shop near me” or “family lawyer in Leeds,” Google usually shows a map with three businesses underneath it. That block is called the local pack, and the listings in it come from Google Business Profile. Being in those top three spots can make a dramatic difference to how many people call you.

Google Business Profile management is the ongoing work of making your profile as complete, accurate, active, and trusted as possible. It includes choosing the right categories, writing a strong description, adding services and products, uploading real photos, posting updates, answering questions, and responding to every review.

It also connects to your website. Google looks at whether your site confirms your location, services, and contact details, so we align your profile with your location pages and local SEO. The result is a listing that ranks better, looks more trustworthy, and converts more searchers into customers.

Who is Google Business Profile for?

This service is built for any business that serves customers in a specific area:

  • Restaurants, cafes, and bars
  • Clinics, dentists, physiotherapists, and med spas
  • Law firms, accountants, and other professional services
  • Home services such as plumbers, electricians, roofers, and cleaners
  • Salons, barbers, gyms, and studios
  • Multi-location brands that need every branch to rank

What problems does Google Business Profile solve?

Competitors show up in the map pack, you don’t

Incomplete profiles, wrong categories, and inactivity hold listings back. We fix the fundamentals and keep your profile active.

Wrong or outdated information

Old hours, wrong phone numbers, or duplicate listings cost you customers. We clean up and lock in accurate information.

Too few reviews, or unanswered ones

Reviews are a major local ranking and trust factor. We build a system to earn more and reply to every one.

How does Google rank businesses on Google Maps?

Google says local results are based mainly on three factors: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how far you are from the searcher or the location in the search), and prominence (how well known and trusted your business is).

You can’t move your building, but you can improve relevance with accurate categories, services, and descriptions, and prominence with reviews, photos, activity, citations, and links to your website. That’s where most of our work goes.

Do Google posts actually help?

Posts are best thought of as a conversion and activity tool. They show searchers that you are open, active, and relevant, and they give you space to promote offers and news right in the search results. An active, complete profile tends to perform better than a neglected one.

We plan posts around your seasons, promotions, and the questions customers ask, so each one gives a searcher a reason to call you instead of the next business on the list.

What should a complete Google Business Profile include?

At minimum: your exact business name (without keyword stuffing, which breaks Google’s guidelines), the correct primary category plus relevant secondary categories, address or service area, phone number, website, opening hours including holiday hours, a clear description, services or products with descriptions, attributes, and a healthy set of recent photos.

Beyond the basics, the profiles that perform best tend to be the most active: new photos every month, weekly posts, questions answered, and every review replied to. We also add UTM tracking to your website link so you can see exactly how many visits and conversions your profile sends to your site in Google Analytics.

Google Business Profile FAQs

Is Google Business Profile free?

Yes. The profile itself is free. You pay us for the time and expertise to set it up, optimize it, and manage it actively.

Can you manage multiple locations?

Yes. We manage profiles for multi-location businesses, with consistent branding and location-specific content for each branch.

My profile was suspended. Can you help?

Yes. We review the likely cause, fix any guideline issues, and help you submit a reinstatement request with the right evidence.

Can you remove negative reviews?

We can flag reviews that break Google’s policies, such as spam, conflicts of interest, or offensive content, for removal. Genuine negative reviews can’t be removed, but a thoughtful response often limits the damage.

Do I need a website too?

It helps a lot. Google uses your website to confirm your details and relevance, and many searchers click through before calling. We can align your site’s location pages with your profile.

How do you track results?

We use Google Business Profile performance data (calls, directions, website clicks), tracked links, and local rank tracking across a grid of points in your service area.
