What is Domain Authority?

Domain Authority: A third-party score (not a Google metric) that estimates how strong a website’s backlink profile is compared with others.

Tools such as Moz (Domain Authority), Ahrefs (Domain Rating), and Semrush (Authority Score) calculate their own versions. They are useful for comparing sites and judging link opportunities, but Google does not use them. Focus on relevance and quality of links, not the score itself.
