What is Topical Authority?
Topical Authority: The perceived depth of a website’s expertise on a subject, built by covering a topic thoroughly with interlinked, high-quality content.
Sites that answer many related questions well, and connect those answers with internal links and hub pages, tend to rank more easily for new content in that topic. Topic clusters (a hub page plus supporting articles) are a common way to build it.
