What is Indexing?
Indexing: The process of a search engine storing a page in its database so it can appear in search results.
A page must be crawled and indexed before it can rank. Pages might not be indexed because they are blocked, marked noindex, duplicated, low quality, or simply not yet discovered. Google Search Console shows which pages are indexed and why others aren’t.
